Hunstanton to Heacham

Set on the west facing coast of Norfolk, starting under the famous red and white cliffs, this walk is along the concrete promenade overlooking the Wash with views across to Lincolnshire.

Enjoy constantly changing scene as the beach, rockpools and mudflats are exposed and covered. Watch waders to windsurfers, families having fun to quiet tranquillity of the tides.

Length of walk: Promenade from Hunstanton to Heacham is two and a quarter miles (3.6km)

Location: North east Norfolk, six miles north-east of King’s Lynn.
