Horse riding on the Norfolk Coast

Horse riding is a good way to appreciate the beautiful Norfolk coast, beaches and intricate network of bridleways, byways and quiet country roads.

Where to ride?

Holkham Beach

Natural England and Holkham Estate allow horse riding on the beach at Holkham, near Wells-next-the-Sea. Pay and display parking is available for horseboxes at Lady Anne’s Drive.

Peddars Way National Trail

The Peddars Way National Trail allows horse riders.

The Norfolk Coast Path National Trail, however, has footpath classification only and is not suitable for horse riders.
