Public transport: Coasthopper stop in Holkham village (requires about a mile walk along main drive through deer park)
Cycling or walking: Adjacent to Norfolk Coast Cycleway and Norfolk Coast Path. Parkland accessible for walking & cycling, cycle hire on site. Part of Wells circular route taking in Holkham estate and beach.

Information and interpretation: 2016 saw the opening of extensive refurbishments at the hall and its facilities, shops, café. A 6 acre walled garden, large woodland play area, guided walks and other events throughout the year all providing a broad variety of information.
