Norfolk Coast Cycleway Explorers: Route 6
A route of contrast as this loop glimpses the ‘madding crowd’ near the coast and inland to reveal hidden Norfolk. There are fords along the river Glaven and a working watermill, lots of historic buildings from round tower churches to a shell museum, ancient sites from the tumuli on Salthouse Heath to the ruins at Baconsthorpe Castle together with the varied landscape make this a great explorer.
Easy riding with a couple of challenging hills although some sections may become busier during peak times.
Length of cycle route: 24 miles
