Sustead is a small village and parish about four miles south-west of Cromer, between the A140 and A148.

To the south of Felbrigg the village is mentioned in the Domesday Book and over the years been referred to as Susted, Sutsted and Southstede all of which most likely derive from the Anglo-Saxon word for Southern Place.
St Peter and St Pauls Church dates from Saxon times and has a 48 foot round tower.
