Best known for its Royal connections Sandringham estate is more than the house and gardens which are well worth seeing. The excellent parkland with its woodland habitats provides miles of walking and to enjoy exploring throughout the seasons. Pick up a map at the visitor centre or just explore and don't miss the Sculpture trail. Young visitors will enjoy their own woodland play area.
Public transport: Bus services stop at the visitor centre
Cycling or walking: Norfolk Coast Cycleway passes through the estate; for walkers there is open access plus waymarked trails
Accessibility: Allocated disabled parking close to visitor centre whose facilities are wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Most of the parkland around the visitor centre is level meaning many areas of the parkland are accessible to varying degrees. Parking: Ample free parking in the two main car parks at and nearby to the visitor centre, with unlimited informal all around the estate

Information and interpretation: All the country park facilities are at the visitor centre, site map for trails available at information desk or print off on-line. The Sculpture trail also provides a fascinating insight to area through the information plaque at each sculpture. For those interested in churches then the estate church is regularly open to the public, often with guides on hand. For a real flavour of Sandringham then take a guided tour of the estate take one of the regular tractor rides from outside the visitor centre.
