Quiet Lanes explorer
(Explorer 8 the Quiet Lanes network)
Between Cromer and Great Yarmouth the Norfolk Coast Cycleway passes through a pilot 'Quiet Lanes' network so this explorer invites you to use this network to literally get out there and explore.
Quiet Lanes are signed with distinctive Quiet Lane markers, this national pilot project aimed to make minor rural links better for all road users. Encouraging motorists to use the most suitable routes and asking all users to be considerate towards each other when travelling on a Quiet Lane. They also provide links to the public footpath and bridleway networks.
With no defined route to follow as in the other explorer loops we have instead provided some snippets of information on the villages and towns around the area to help plan a route and enjoy this area of north east Norfolk.
