New Hunstanton is a west-facing resort begun by Henry le Strange, Lord of the Manor, around the mid 1840s and boosted by the arrival of the railway in 1862. The seaside town retains its Victorian charm and character to this day, remaining a popular holiday destination for visitors of all ages, but especially families

The elegant resort of Hunstanton is the ideal base to enjoy Norfolk's superb coastline. Hunstanton, or 'Hunston' as it is known locally, is renowned for its unique striped cliffs of white chalk, red limestone and carstone, along with magnificent sunsets made special by its position as the only west-facing resort on the East coast.
