Stretching from Burnham Overy in the West to Blakeney in the East, Holkham National Nature Reserve covers over 3,000 hectares and comprises of five main habitats sand & mudflats, sand dunes, salt marsh, woodland and grazing marshes.
Home to a herd of fallow deer, Holkham Park covers 3,000 acres and includes a mile long lake and the largest Walled Garden in Britain. Housed within the Park is an eighteenth century Palladian mansion (still a family home) and an interactive exhibition - Holkham Stories, bringing to life local food production and the history of the estate.
Holkham Estate is a privately owned family estate and has been since its inception in the eighteenth century. It has a long agricultural history and strives to develop innovative, sustainable solutions today.

Are self guided activities allowed on site
Yes, but must be booked via the education officer to ensure coach access is available if required.

It is essential to contact the Holkham education officer if bringing a large group or arriving by coach.
