Getting involved

There are opportunities for everyone to play a part in helping to keep the area special and maintain the qualities for which it was designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. In this section we aim to give you advice, hints and tips that may help you improve your local area and help to maintain and even enhance the area's 'natural beauty'. Whether you can offer a little or a lot of time there are ways in which you can help look after the coast for future generations to enjoy.

Some suggestions here are:

live more sustainably - there are a range of activities and things we can do individually, as a family or as a community that will help improve our local area and have positive benefits further afield - including using the Coasthopper bus service.

Take part in one of the Norfolk coast Beach Clean Events to help our marine wildlife

volunteer your time

get involved in local planning, to help ensure decisions help to conserve and enhance the area's natural beauty
