This section provides information on publications produced by the Norfolk Coast Partnership and makes many of them available in a downloadable form.

We intend to carry all current publications in pdf format for ease of printing and downloading but please contact the office for a printed copy.

For details of other documents, including previous publications, please contact the office as some may still be available in electronic and/or printed format.

Annual Publications
Illustration for Publications
The Norfolk Coast Guardian has been produced since 1994 and the 60,000 copies are distributed through various outlets around the AONB from Easter though to October.

In 2008 a booklet Norfolk Coast 100 ways to be part of it was published and following its success was followed up in 2009 with 60 reasons why and how.

Annual Reports have been produced in recent years with some printed copies although in the interests of the environment we promote the use of viewing and downloading from the website.

Community Conferences covering various topics were held for a number of years and reports of these can still obtained. A little dated, some are on this website with others available on request.
Action Plan project reports
There are a number of current and recent projects to deliver the Action Plan for the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which have led to various draft and final reports.

These 'Project' documents do not necessarily represent endorsement or policy of the Norfolk Coast Partnership but provide a useful source of information. Some of these documents can be found here and for more information on these or other projects contact the Partnership office on 01328 850530 or by email at office@norfolkcoastaonb.org.uk.

Projects include:
2005 study of affordable housing provision in the AONB The Housing Market and Affordable Housing.
2006 Tourism report by consultants Scott Wilson Ltd Norfolk Coast AONB Tourism Benefit and Impacts Analysis.
The drive towards more sustainable development and renewable energies has to be balanced against the requirement to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Find a number of projects that are helping us take renewable energy forward in the Norfolk Coast.
Landscape Assessment - Chris Blandford Associates in association with Alison Farmer Associates, were appointed in May 2006 by the Norfolk Coast Partnership to advise on the development of a co-ordinated approach to integrated landscape planning across the planning authorities within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Other publications
2005 saw the Local Products Directory revised by consultant Rosemary Hoskins which is now managed as an on-line searchable publication. (Copies of the last printed version are available on request but contains some out of date information)

An Easy Access Guide for the Norfolk Coast AONB produced in 2000 as part of a Millennium Access Project with help from Heritage Lottery Fund is no longer available. However, to give a taste of sites set up or improved during this project a pdf document featuring many of the sites can be found here.

Also during 2000 a Field Study Guide was produced by a working group of Site Wardens and Field Study education providers in the form of a 'Code of Practice'. The information the original leaflet contained including updated contacts for the site wardens and field study centres can be downloaded.

in 1994 the Norfolk Coast Project as the 'Partnership' was then called contracted a Beach Visitor Study and two reports Visitor Management Handbook and Wildlife & Windbreaks were produced. On the subject of site management a Bird Hide Design Guide was also developed.
